With over 120 years of continuous growth, Contini Estates began by producing Vernaccia di Oristano and later expanded to include Nieddera, Vermentino, and Cannonau. Today, the winery offers a comprehensive range of wines available both in Italy and internationally.
For Vini Contini’s visual identity and communication, we started by redesigning the brand’s core element: the logo. Inspired by the traditional “fassonis” boats of the Sinis region, we incorporated their textures, natural colors, and historical significance into all communication materials, both digital and physical. This inspiration also guided the rebranding campaigns for their new wines—Karmis, Maluentu, Pariglia, Giganti, Mamaioa, and Attilio. Across all channels, we conveyed their rich, millennia-old history through a simple yet elegant message.
No innovation can be separated from the wealth of knowledge that the brand has accumulated over its long history, a taste that will continue to resonate with its market for years to come.
While Contini aims for national and international markets, the local Sardinian market remains the most challenging. The production of comparable wines forces consumers to choose based on the perceived values of both the product and the brand, with each bottle telling its own unique story. The color palette allows for varied interpretations, with intersecting lines representing waves, sand dunes, vegetation, or sedimentary rock.

This iconic boat, fundamental to the brand’s identity, also inspired the abstract texture that completes the brand’s visual identity with a unique and distinctive mark. The label was redesigned to be more vertical, further emphasizing the originality and distinctiveness of the brand.
The blend of painterly and geometric elements, consistent across all wines, plays a significant role in reinforcing the brand’s identity.
The website design follows a modern, modular, and responsive approach, ensuring fluid navigation and emphasizing the product offerings. Visual content dominates, driving engagement and curiosity.
We executed several large-scale campaigns across Italy that have significantly contributed to positioning the brand and its wines as icons of quality and deep Sardinian heritage.
